Hotel and Hospitality Program

The Hotel and Hospitality program is a comprehensive education that provides students with a strong foundation in the hospitality industry. The program covers topics such as event planning, front desk agent, housekeeping, food and beverage service, sales and customer service skills. Students will learn about the operational and financial aspects of running a hotel, as well as the skills needed to effectively lead a team.

The program also provides practical experience through internships, which will provide the student with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Graduates of the program will be prepared for a variety of career opportunities in the hotel and hospitality industry.

Administrative Assistant - May 2023

Our Administrative Assistant Program will train you in the skills needed to work in today’s modern office environments. Learn about office procedures including organizing meetings/conferences, leadership, teamwork and more. Understand and develop professional skills necessary to communicate in an active office. Develop strong typing practices, you will also be knowledgeable in organizational procedures, communication, customer service, and computer fundamentals. Learn to perform functions common to all Microsoft Office 365 applications, essential in a modern worksite.

Early Childhood Educator

This program is designed for students with strong personal interest in early childhood education and to prepare students for employment in childcare centres. The program provides a strong foundation and a head start for students considering further post-secondary education leading to the Early Childhood Educator II (ECE II) designation. This program will give students the opportunity to earn a Child Care Assistant standing plus further training. We are working to increase that designation in the near future.

The program is delivered in a teacher-led classroom environment. Students learn comprehensive child development theory focused on infancy & toddlerhood, explore the value of inclusive and diverse environments, practice nurturing and positive guidance techniques with a focus on communicating with children, and experiment with creating opportunities for play.

Information Systems

As an Information Systems Technician, your job is to keep a business's or organization's IT running smoothly and securely. You'll be the one who ensures all computers, servers, and other devices are networked effectively and efficiently. Our Evening Information Systems program combines theory with hands-on projects and was developed based on needs identified by our industry advisory committee. We utilize the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum to prepare students for exciting careers in Information Technology which provides students with access to expert, educational IT content and to a rich learning experience through online media. Engaging activities include animated simulations, videos, and interactive quizzes, along with valuable hands-on lab exercises for real world experience. We've gone even further by partnering with CompTIA and Microsoft's Academic Alliance to ensure that our students are kept up to date with the latest in technology.  Our program can lead to diverse roles in computer installation, maintenance, and repair, or can prepare students to continue learning in other related programs.

Web Design

The Web Design Program exposes students to the New Media industry. Students are provided with a solid foundation for careers as Junior Web/Media Designers and Developers. This program builds a strong base for students wishing to pursue further post-secondary education in related fields including computer science, business information technology, digital media design and computer graphics at university or college. We teach our students a wide range of topics which will make them very familiar with the web design industry. Students who take our program have obtained positions as Junior Programmers or moved on to further education.
